With a decade of expertise crafting powerful CVs, LinkedIn profiles and cover letters, and supporting clients with interview preparation, I've successfully propelled over 2,000 clients into their dream roles. I am also the author of 'How to Write an Impressive CV and Cover Letter', first and second editions, which has claimed the top spot in Amazon's career section and has sold over 10,000 copies sold worldwide.

Have I always been a Career Specialist? My career began in banking. After completing a bachelor of commerce degree, I joined South Africa's largest bank as a credit clerk. I advanced quickly, and  at just 25, I earned the distinction of becoming the bank's youngest ever Credit Manager. My role allowed me to engage with clients and foster strong relationships, which I loved.

After relocating to the UK in the late 90's, I embarked on an enriching journey with some of the country's prominent banks, including Coutts, Deutsche, and BNP Paribas. However, I began to yearn for more client interaction and gradually fell out of love with banking.

Thus began my quest to find work that truly resonated with me. I spent two years as a Headhunter, followed by seven years setting up and running Impressive CVs before the exciting venture of running my own online F1 merchandising company. Following its sale,  I transitioned into the role of an Investment Manager for a local fintech company.

It took several years for me to uncover what truly ignited my spirit: helping others. Assisting individuals discover their strengths, achievements and skills, to find purpose and excitement in their careers, became my true calling. Drawing upon my robust commercial background in finance, operations, retail, sales and marketing, along with my experience as a Headhunter, has led me to where I am today.
